mercedes : SHANGHAI, Aug 3 (Reuters) - The state of the parent company of Brilliance China Automotive Holdings (1114.HK) is in talks with Daimler AG (DAIGn.DE), a joint venture in China, the special purpose vehicles, executives at the parent company, Brilliance Auto, said on Monday.
"Brilliance is a production of tie-up with Daimler now to convert Mercedes-Benz vehicles in special-purpose models," said one executive Brilliance Auto, which was informed of the matter.
The shareholding structure and size of the company have not been finalized, but an agreement could be reached before the end of the year, the executive told Reuters.
"The options are now open. We are building a new plant or the use of existing capacities Brilliance, Brilliance Auto another executive said, are converted Mercedes-Benz models will be sold in China.
Both executives asked not be named because of the sensitivity of the subject.
A Daimler spokesman in China could not be reached immediately for comment.

Yufei Wan, the chief of Brilliance of the international trading arm, said in April that the two partners built their second plant in China, where car-government as a solid aggressive stimulus measures lift consumer confidence.
The expansion could be the annual capacity of the JV from 75,000 to 80,000 units in the second half of next year, from 30,000 at the end of 2008, Wan added.
BMW, however, said no decision had been made on a second plant.
Brilliance Auto was dispatched its BS6 and BS4 sedans medium, the in-house in Europe since 2007. Both models rated poorly in the first crash tests, although improvements have been made in the wake of the BS6 model. (Reporting by Fang Yan and Jacqueline Wong) - mercedes
